Ringwood Knox Lutheran Parish Announcements
All Saints—2 November
On this day we especially remember those who have died in
the last year and their names are read out during the service. If you would like someone you know to be acknowledged, please send their names to Ringwood Church Office
or Pastor Peter. At Knox we encourage you to bring photos
and other memorability to be displayed.
Knox Bible Song—November 2nd
Knox Bible Song will be held next Sunday, 2nd November at
11am. We will spend time once again with our children,
with Bible storytelling, music and craft. All children are welcome. Please note that our final Bible Song for 2025 will be
held on Advent Sunday – 30th November. This will be a
5th Sunday 11am service, replacing the usual 1st Sunday Bible
Song in December and provides the timely opportunity for
us to make Advent Calendars and start Christmas preparations with the children. We also invite parents to SAVE THE
DATE for our Family Christmas Service which will be held
on Sunday 14th December, when we will include our children
and congregation in a special Christmas focussed presentation. We invite ALL families to join us
Hope In A Suitcase
Our Parish continues to be a collection point for Hope in a Suitcase, an organisation providing children in out-of-home care with a new suitcase full of essential belongings to call their own when entering foster care. With more than 46,000 children living in out-of-home care across Australia, the need for items to pack into the suitcases has never been so important. If you would like to help, donations of new clothing, toiletries, books, pencils etc for all ages from birth to 18 years can be left at both Ringwood and Knox churches. These are then taken to the Hope in a Suitcase organisation for packing and distribution. The on-going donations that our Parish has collected this year have been enormously appreciated and they pass on their sincere thanks for our contribution which has helped to fill the 4,338 suitcases delivered to children across Australia so far in 2025. If you would like to know more about the work of Hope in a Suitcase please visit their website: www.hiasc.org.au
Ringwood Knox Lutheran Parish
Anyone and everyone is welcome to join us for our weekly worship where we receive and share God’s saving love. We trust you’ll feel welcomed and hope you’ll join us for a cuppa and chat after the service. Pastoral visits and/or care are also available.
Community Activities and Events
While everyone is free to choose their level of involvement, we're sure you'll find a group to belong to or an activity to get involved in.
Connecting and Caring
We have a long tradition of reaching out to people in need of a helping hand, a meal or simply a chat. We're here to serve. Just call us.
Good Shepherd Retirement Village
Our retirement village at Ringwood offers independent living just across the road from the church. It consists of 23 two-bedroom units, either with a single garage or carport. It also has a residents centre for exclusive use by the residents and their guests.
MEET OUR PASTOR
Pastor Peter Ghalayini
With suffering, terrorism and other harsh realities in our world it's no wonder that some people question the existence of God. But I believe that God’s word is as relevant today as it ever was. I love being a pastor. My messages speak about the struggles of living, using current events as an opportunity to proclaim that God continues to be with us through the light of Christ.
