Women's Group
This is a group for the women of the two congregations (and their friends) to get to know each other in an informal setting, to share experiences and skills, to relax and enjoy the beautiful gifts God has given us.
Activities include film or theatre outings, craft workshops, discussion nights. Suggestions for activities are always welcome.
Men's Group
The
Men's Group usually meets on the 4th Thursday of the
month at the home of one of the members.
Whilst lots of laughter and the odd glass of red wine is customary, it doesn't preclude serious discussion. Each meeting has a theme, but other topics of interest are often brought up spontaneously and spirited dialogue ensues.
Soup and Singing
During
the winter months in the past few years the Kolecs, members of the Knox congregation, have opened
their home on a Sunday afternoon to a lunch of hearty soup followed by
an equally hearty session of music.
Changed circumstances have meant that this no longer takes place, however the photos show fun and relaxed times of fellowship.
Drop In
On the first and third Tuesday of each month, Ringwood Church Hall is the venue for a gathering of Retirement Village people, senior citizens from the community and generally just anyone who wants to 'drop in'. The socialising mostly begins at 1.30pm. No official program is currently published, however you can see the 2009 program for examples of activities provided.
