Good Shepherd House in the autumn sunshine
The building at 57 Wantirna Road, Ringwood, has been known under many names: the old manse, the REFS building, the church office, the pink building and number 57 to name a few.
Very recently, after a long and fruitful association, our co-tenants in this building, the REFS organisation, was sadly disbanded. The space is now fully available for the use of our congregation and parish. So Ringwood Church Council decided it was a good time to give this place a new name: Good Shepherd House. We hope this building will become a home for our community, where groups of all kinds can meet; committees, Bible studies, prayer meetings and social events etc.
To celebrate this new start, the first "Morning Tea at Good Shepherd House" was held on Monday April 21. A nice group of fifteen people took the opportunity to come together for a cuppa, fellowship, a devotion and prayer with Pastor Stephen, Christie, Jan and each other. This will continue to be held fortnightly on Monday mornings.
Think about whether Good Shepherd House might be a good venue for your church group, gathering or committee. The person to talk to about bookings is Jan Hoffmann.
